Irrigation Inspection FAQs

1. What does an irrigation inspection include?

The agreed scope may include accessible controls, operating zones, sprinkler heads and visible signs of leakage or damage.

2. Does the system need to be turned on?

The water supply and controls need to be available for operational checks. We confirm preparation requirements before the appointment.

3. Can you inspect a winterized system?

Winterization may prevent operational checks. Tell us the system’s status so we can discuss the available inspection scope.

4. Can you find every underground leak?

No. Buried components cannot be fully assessed visually. Some concerns require further investigation by an irrigation specialist.

5. Will you repair broken sprinkler heads?

Inspection and repair are separate. We document observed concerns so you can arrange suitable maintenance.

6. Will you check whether every part of my lawn receives enough water?

We can document observable spray concerns within the scope. A detailed irrigation design or water-distribution assessment is a separate service.

7. Is backflow testing included?

Do not assume it is included. Tell us if you require a specific backflow test or certificate so we can confirm whether it can be arranged.

8. Can I add this to my home inspection?

Ask when booking. We’ll discuss availability, coordination and the additional cost.

9. What if some zones cannot be operated?

We document the limitation and explain whether further assessment is recommended.

10. How do I prepare for the inspection?

Provide access to controls and relevant equipment, identify known zones and follow the preparation instructions supplied by our team.
